I really like this table. I think some people refere to stands like this as sewing stands but it certainly makes a great parlor type table. Perfect for lamps and big vases of roses. It is made of maple and is very sturdy and very heavy. It stands solidly on the floor and is not easily tipped as some pedestal tables are. It has two individual drawers. The top has been covered with a china mosaic design of much pink and many roses. The table itself has been painted a crisp cottage white and everything has been sealed to help resist staining and provide easy cleaning.
