Up for bid is a THREE INCH BALL STAKE, ALL STEEL construction. For General Blacksmithing and Metal working Overall length is 14 1/2" The Shank is black in color and is 11 1/2" long and 1 1/4" square.The shank ends in a taper to fit a pexto plate or a work bench. The Stake weighs about 12lbs. It is an old tool find from cleaning out a building. Condition; The ball top has minor pitting and some rust spots but is in overall excellent shape given the age. There are no identifying marks, no cracks or apparent damage, only paint scratches from use.
