We accept PayPal, all major credit cards and personal checks. NO MONEY ORDERS OR CASHIERS CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. On a case-by-case basis, we will often work with a buyer on a payment plan for multiple items or on some of our more expensive items. Please contact us for details.
Payment must be received within seven days of auction end.
Sales tax of 8% will be added for sales to residents of Georgia.
Shipping
PLEASE CONTACT US FOR AN EXACT SHIPPING QUOTE. UNLESS THIS ITEM IS SMALL ENOUGH TO SHIP SAFELY VIA UPS (if so, you will see this already specified on this page), WE WILL OFFER C.O.D. SHIPPING VIA OUR PREFERRED FURNITURE DELIVERY SERVICE TO YOUR AREA. The furniture delivery service companies that we use are known in the furniture industry as providing "white glove delivery service." These companies ship only high-end furniture and antiques and are well-versed in the safe delivery of your items into your home or office. Included in our quote to you will be blanket-wrapped shipping, insurance and "in-home" or "in-office" delivery. The cost for this service is usually comparable or better than shipping with a standard freight company and the peace of mind it offers for the handling of your investment is priceless!
In order to provide you with the most cost-effective shipping possible, all shipments via furniture delivery services will be sent to you COD (cash or check on delivery) - with payment payable by you directly to the shipper upon delivery.
Delivery to unusually remote or difficult locations, or to an island off the coast of the Continental United States will be to the nearest standard or mainland location with the buyer responsible for arranging further delivery. These areas include, but are not limited to areas without truck access, areas closed due to inclement weather and areas accessible only by ferry or boat. Buyers usually know if their locations falls into one of these categories, but please contact us with any questions.
Please understand that shipping fine furniture and antiques safely and cost-effectively is a difficult and lenghty process that has taken us years to refine. The majority of the pieces we ship are substantial and not small items that can simply fit into an envelope or small box. Most items require special shipping or extensive custom packing or crating. We spend a great deal of the time, effort and expense to process and ship your valuable purchases properly. Therefore, your items will not be received with the same speed as something shipped via UPS, USPS, FEDEX or a standard freight company. If you need an item more quickly than we indicate, we are happy to get quotes for special shipping or put you in touch with a company that can accomodate your timeline.
Due to increased fuel costs, our shippers are picking up shipments from us about twice a month. Please be aware that shipping time can run anywhere from two to eight weeks AFTER leaving our warehouse and destinations far from Atlanta and/or in remote areas can take even longer. This a general estimate and delivery times depend on our shippers' schedules and your proximity to Atlanta, GA. Please also note that we cannot be held responsible for trucking routes or shipping delays after an item leaves our warehouse.
For items small enough to ship safely via UPS, we endeavor to process and pack them within one week to ten days of receipt of payment. This is the timeline for processing and packing only. Shipping time will depend on your distance from Atlanta, GA. If the item listed on this page meets the UPS shipping requirements, you will see a shipping calculator below.

SHIPPING TO CANADA - We are happy to ship to Canada, but are only able to contract shipping to Canada through UPS or via Craters and Freighters (www.cratersandfreighters.com). You are welcome to obtain your own quote or we will be happy to help you. Please send your exact delivery address, city, province and zip code. We will arrange for you to pay Craters and Freighters directly, but will make all of the shipping and pick-up arrangements for you.
We also understand that there are areas in the U.S. just across the Canadian border that will accept shipments bound for Canda for you to pick-up personally. We are happy to provide what information we have about these companies to you, but suggest you also check on your end about such resources.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - Please contact us for a quote. Unfortunately we are often not able to acquire exact international shipping quotes until after an auction ends. Most international shipping will be to your nearest airport or a verified business address. Very rarely are we able to make arrangements to have international shipments delivered to a customer's home.
Please note that all international shipping quotes will be for packing and freight charges ONLY and will vary greatly from country to country. Any customs charges, taxes/duties, airport, destination charges or other charges levied by the country of receipt are the sole responsibility of the buyer. We are not responsible for knowing what is acceptable or unacceptable to import to your country. Please contact the customs branch of your government for importing specifics.

R E T U R N P O L I C Y - ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Due to the nature of our products, once shipped, we cannot accept returns. Please check dimensions carefully and ask questions before bidding. We are happy to go out of our way to help you ensure that this is the proper selection for you and welcome and encourage ALL questions.
The only exception to our return policy is if a piece should arrive damaged in transit. If this should occur, please refuse the shipment from the shipper and contact us immediately.
About Us
BJORK ANTIKT is a direct importer and wholesaler of quality antiques and vintage furniture. We have two locations in Atlanta, GA - a new showroom located in ADAC (Atlanta Decorative Arts Center) and a large warehouse in West Atlanta. Our shipments are primarily from Sweden, but we also import pieces from Denmark, Norway and Finland. We hand-select our items, refurbish or restore if necessary, and offer them to you directly in "showroom condition." However, it is important to realize that we deal primarily in antique and vintage items that will often show varying degrees of age and wear (i.e. patina, nicks, dings, etc.). We do our best to describe each item in detail, but we often do not overstate obvious signs of normal age and wear that are inherent in these items.. Because these items have led a prior life, there is also a strong possibility that some pieces may have been repaired in the past. We go over every piece very carefully and touch-up any problem areas, but if a repair was well-done, it is possible that it may not be detected. Please contact us with any specific questions.
Wood pieces often experience some sort of cracking or warping due to changes in climate, hydration or dehydration. If they occur at all, they are usually minor stress cracks which are structurally insignificant and cosmetically appealing. Painted pieces will often show natural distressing from use and can often show a bit of age or separation as is normal in antique painted furniture. We will make every effort to point out and photograph extreme cases of distressing, chipped, worn or damaged finishes. Please note that handcrafted items can vary slightly in size and will make every effort to point out any significant variances to you. Dimensions are usually rounded to the nearest 1/4".
