This gorgeous Dressing Table was made in FRANCE circa 1890.
We purchased it in PARIS, FRANCE.
The Dressing Table is made of OAK. It has a rich, Medium Oak Patina.
This is a French Art Nouveau Dressing Table. It is in good condition.
The Dressing Table has a beautiful, large Mirrored Gallery at the back. The Mirror scallops delightfully along the top.
The Frame of the Mirror is splendidly carved with a gorgeous Floral and Foliage Art Nouveau Floral and Foliage Pattern at each corner.
This Carved Foliage with the Beading embellishments is quite lovely.
The Dressing Table has it's original White Marble Top. The Marble has gray veins flowing through it.
The base of the piece consists of Three Drawers along the top with Three Doors below.
The Drawers open to reveal roomy interiors. They open to reveal roomy interiors. They have beautifully made Dove Tail Joints, which indicates the quality of the Cabinet Maker.
The facade which frames the Dressing Table is carved with a matching Floral and Foliage Pattern.
The Doors have Raised Center Panels. The Central Door is embellished with an elegant Drapery Carving along the bottom the Panel.
The Doors flanking it have a Rectangular Carving with three gorgeous Roses and Foliage at the center.
The Doors open to reveal a roomy interior with a Shelf flowing across the center.
This interior was a common Belgian design for storing folded articles of clothing.

The hardware is all original. This includes the opulent Oval Back Plates, Escutcheons, Bale Handles, Lock and Skeleton Key.
