Fresh from a connecticut attic. This auction is for an original As found WWI Imperial Prussian German Pickelhaube Green Felt helmet. I am not an expert on helmets from germany, so if you are bidding you probably know more than me. You are buying what you see in the photographs. I will do my best to describe it. It says on the front plate FR MIT GOTT FUR KOENIG UND VATERLAN. It has what looks to be the original chin strap and only one cockade. There is some minor rust spots here and there and a few minor scratches on the metal here and there (check photos) Overall it looks to me like it is in very good condition. There are some marks on the inside of the rear of the helmet but they are very hard to read so check the photos. Buyer to pay $10.00 for shipping and handling in the US, Outside US contact me for shipping price. Insurance is extra and required, and depends on the final price.
