This rare promotional set comes from a serious Beatles collector who has commissioned me to sell his collection over the coming few months.
It comprises some of the rarest and best condition copies ever to be offered for sale.

This Italian promotional 4-record-set was released at Christmas 1968 and contained the first 4 Apple single releases.
It is similar to the UK set issued at the same time which was titled 'Our First Four'.
It comprises the following four 7" records:
1. MARY HOPKIN - QUELLI ERAN GIORNI (THOSE WERE THE DAYS - sung in Italian)/TURN TURN TURN - Apple 2
2. JACKIE LOMAX - SOUR MILK TEA/THE EAGLE LAUGHS AT YOU - Apple 3
3. THE IVEYS - MAYBE TOMORROW/AND HER DADDY'S A MILLIONAIRE - Apple 5
4. INTERVISTA CON I BEATLES - 1a e 2a PARTE - DPR 108
The fourth disc contains a fascinating interview with The Beatles by English D.J. Kenny Everett at Abbey Road studios during the recording sessions for 'Don't Pass Me By' on June 5th 1968.
The interview was played in edited form on Kenny's his show of June 9th and has never been commercially available since.
Housed in its original fold-out wallet complete with its original green plastic hanging thread (for hanging on the Christmas tree!)

All are perfectly clean & unmarked with just a touch of wear to the centre-hole rim on the Ivey's disc.
Visual: Apple 2: MINT Apple 3: EXCELLENT PLUS Apple 5: NEAR MINT Apple 2: NEAR MINT
All surfaces are clean, bright and glossy with just an occasional wispy paper hairline visible only directly under my unforgiving halogen desk lamp.
There are one or two faint insignificant surface marks on the Jackie Lomax 45, but no other traces of wear to the others.
Audio: NEAR MINT
All discs have been barely, if ever played and sound clear & clean throughout with no traces of audible wear or faults to any side.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A superb, clean & bright example with just minor handling/storage wear but no splits, tears, writing or any other major faults.
