A first class set with just a single tiny spindle trail on the side 2 label.
Visual: NEAR MINT
Both surfaces of this barely played copy are totally 'as new' and unmarked in strong daylight with no scuffs, marks or scratches whatsoever.
Close inspection directly beneath my powerful halogen desk lamp reveals just a few insignificant traces of storage from the black inner-sleeve on side 1 but no signs of wear.
Both sides lie totally 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Audio: NEAR MINT
This outstanding sounding copy has received just one or two careful plays at most and all tracks play perfectly with no traces of groovewear or background noise.
The only blemish I could find was 2 light ticks in the band between tracks 2 & 3 on side 1 but there are absolutely no other traces of audible wear elsewhere on this magnificent copy.
Even easily worn areas such as the introductions to 'Only A Northern Song' & 'It's All Too Much' and the final track; 'All You Need Is Love', are unworn and play 'as new'.
The delicate orchestral side is a total joy, with no clicks, pops or any other significant audible wear.
Cover: NEAR MINT
This pristine example has been perfectly preserved by its original shop shrink-wrapping and is essentially 'as new' throughout.
The front panel is perfect and fully covered and all corners and both opening edges are in immaculate, untouched condition.
The rear panel is also as it was when it left the factory with no blemishes or wear to any area.
There is a small 6.5cm tear to the shrinkwrapping and a small section missing towards the rear lower left corner but no other wear or damage.
The shrinkwrap has contracted slightly and this is the only factor which prevents me giving it a 'MINT' grading.
Inner-sleeve: NEAR MINT
Apart from the inevitable faint disc impression, this is 'as new'.
