For auction is this German wall clock possibly of black forest origin. 18.75 long by 11.5 wide. The only thing I can find that may be a signature is a label with a rabbit on it and the initials PIS. I have been informed this is PHS for Phillip Hass & Sohne. I thank the person who sent me this info.
The reason I am selling for parts is because the clock had apparantly fallin apart and had a big split and the previous owner glued it back with a glue gun and made a mess of it. It doesnt show from the front much but shows a lot from the back and insides. There is also a split on the crown. One of the lower finials is split but not noticable.
The movement has a broken suspension spring but I have the pieces. The pendulum does not hang below the clock and there is no hole for one so I am convinced this is the original.
The dial could use some resilvering, has scrapes.
Would be good for parts if you have another that is missing something. U.S. shipping only please.
Thanks, Ed
