There is not enough room here to show all the plates, so the photos below represent but a scant few and do not do justice to the incredible amount of wondeful plates this book is teeming with.
The covers of this book exhibit extremely limited shelfwear, mostly just a loss of pigment from the leather here & there and a little gilt loss on spine. Otherwise the covers are quite remarkable after 125 years. The endpapers are clean and without writing, the plates are all present and the text is clean, white, and firmly bound. No foxing evident, Amazingly even the steel plate engravings have not foxed through the tissue guards!!! BEST of all-- There is no writing or marking anywhere in this book !!,
A Highly presentable copy that would make a prized addition to any library!!
THIS COPY IS In Excellent CONDITION FOR ITS AGE!!!!
This book is NOT ex-library and has NO remainder marks.
Here is your chance to own a VERY scarce, highly collectible piece of literary history listed for much more elsewhere online. This book is an excellent investment which has been steadily increasing in value and will continue to do so.
