This stone is hand picked from the desert in an undisclosed location in Southern Nevada and shipped to Denver Colorado where it's brought into the shop and the process of preparation begins. The rock is examined to determine it's best side where an AREA 51 logo will go. A space is carefully grinded on some of the pieces to give it a smooth surface to place the logo. Sometimes a flat bottom surface is made so that it can stand for a better appearance
This particular paper weight/stone weighs 1 pound and10.3 ounces. It is 4.75 inches long, 2.5 inches deep and 4.25 inches tall. The color is a stone greys with dark brown colored shades on it and several white crystaline veins running throughout it. The back has a smooth light grey base color with darker brown on the sides and more of the crystaline veins running through it. This piece can stand as in the picture or lay flat on its back, whichever suits you better.
