Up For Auction:Ristaucrat Tabletop Jukebox Model 45 RPM - 1950
Ristaucrat, Inc was located at 1216 E. Wisconsin Ave., Appleton, Wisconsin, USA.
On June 24, 1950 the company announced the Ristaucrat 45 Non-Selective Jukebox in Billboard Magazine.
Initially, over 1200 were placed on location and production was stepped up to 100 per day per "press releases".
The Ristaucrat 45 was available in either light or dark hardwood finish.
According to the manufacturer, it "Plays 12 45 RPM Records, restacks automatically ... is set for 5 cent play or 2 for 5 cents ... is lightweight, weighs only 30 lbs. Measures a compact 12" high, 12 3/4" deep and 16" high."
The known serial number range (only 4 data points) for this model ranges from 1099 to 3435.
Given a conservative estimate based on known serial numbers, then only 2400 were produced, it is more likely that the serial number range started at 0001, so an estimated production of 3400+ can be assumed.

Steel House Auctions? What's that all about?
I live in a steel house. Really, I reside in Roebling, New Jersey, home of the John A. Roebling & Sons steel mill, which built and provided the steel for the Brooklyn Bridge, the Golden Gate Bridge, as well as numerous other bridges including one over Niagara Falls.
The Steel Mill was also responsible for the production of the elevator cables for the Empire State Building in New York City, the Chicago Board of Trade Building in Chicago and the Washington Monument in Washington, D.C.
John A. Roebling & Sons company made the wire for the original slinky as well.
My house really is made from steel. The original windows, frames, sills, door frames, roof, exterior panels, studs, framing and the huge I beam in the basement are all STEEL.
You never know what you'll find here on Steel House Auctions, I will be selling everything and anything...
