Up for auction is a complete box of twenty-one unused vintage Christmas greeting cards and envelopes.
All cards are unique, no designs are repeated. Cards have Cards have color illustrations on the front and insides, and small illustrations on the backs as well. Cards have extra embellishments- ribbons, foil, embossing, one even has a removable paper angel. Themes include santas, angels, poinsettas, winter scenes, and more. The greetings inside are typed in great retro 1940's fonts. The detail in these cards is really nice, and was hard to capture in the pictures- a great set of vintage cards.
The cards, box and envelopes are in good condition, only slightly yellowed from age.
Although no manufacturer is noted, it's likely these were produced by American Greetings in 1949. Two cards are shown close-up as examples.
