This came out of a local estate. It is a Curta Type 1 mechanical calculator and has serial number 12893. The calculator appears to be in excellent condition and I preformed some basic functions to see if it works and the results were correct. Apparently the previous owner scratched a small “m” and “o” above and below the switch on the side (see picture), there is also a very minor scratch in the same area with paint loss and the area below the clearing ring shows minor wear. I am no expert on this item so please look at the pictures and ask questions. The metal case shows loss of paint from wear, but no dings, bumps or bruises.
