Up for auction is this lovely, rare, clear faceted 1991 Swarovski 1991 Christmas snowflake ornament. I
bought this ornament in Germany in 1991 and it is Swarovski's
"Crystal Colors" line, which is European issue featuring the gold
colored hanger. My daughter took the photos, isn't it a beauty?
Hard-to-find, RARE!!! 1991 is the FIRST YEAR of these popular, collectible line of Swarovski Christmas ornaments.
"1991" is etched onto the ornament (see photo). The piece is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs, and minimal signs of age and use. It comes in its original box with a certificate of authenticity (see photo). The box shows a little bit of wear on the corners, and the paper certificate shows some signs of wear, but the ornament itself is in excellent condition with its original cheerful red ribbon.

On Dec-03-08 at 06:27:23 PST, seller added the following information:*** UPDATE Dec. 3 *** A few people asked about the condition of the crystal so I asked a jeweler friend to look at it under magnification using her loupe. She said the ornament has no nicks, flea bites, scratchs or flaws. It is in fabulous condition. Also OOPS I described it as a 'snowflake', sorry about that, it is obviously a STAR as in the photos.
