TODAYS ITEM FOR AUCTION IS: 1900s Bicycle Advertising Sign on glass in reverse from American Cycles / Gormully & Jeffery. The sign may have been re-framed in a 1920 frame. It is in excellent condition for this rare sign.
Gormully & Jeffery was an American bicycle company (which made Rambler brand bicycles), founded in Chicago by Thomas B. Jeffery and R. Phillip Gormully in 1878. It was at one time the second largest bicycle manufacturer in the US, and was sold to the American Bicycle Company in 1900. (info from Wikipedia)
