Offered are two early 1900's perfume bottles as shown. Both have issues but are still lovely ones for display. First is a Seeley bottle. The label reads:
LILY OF VALLEY
SEELEY
MFG. CO. LTD.
WINDSOR, ONT./DETROIT, MICH.
The label features fancy scrolling borders set against a green background with beautiful pink roses and lavender violets. Neck label is in-tact. Original glass stopper with the old cork is in-tact and fits snugly. This probably had an extended dauber at one time but as is often the case, this has broken off. It measures 4 1/8" high including the stopper, 1 1/2 wide, 3/4" deep. The bottle is in good condition with no detracting cracks or chips. Label is has a small area near the right center that has rubbed off and some very minor edge wear. Neck label is perfect. It still displays beautifully!
The second bottle is French. The label reads:
EXTRAIT CONCENTREE'
DUFORT ET CIE
PARIS
Another lovely label decorated with pink roses set against a mossy green background. Please note that there is some paper loss along the outer right edge of the label. Original glass stopper is in-tact and fits snugly. This probably had an extended dauber at one time but as is often the case, this has broken off. It measures 4" high including the stopper, 1 1/2 wide, 1 1/8" deep. As shown in the last two photos, there are internal cracks in the neck area. They cannot be felt from the outside and the bottle seems quick sound. Two pretty bottles for one price!
