MINT porcelain COLUMBUS DOUBLE SIDE "ASHTRAY" *Gumball*

MINT and RARE Green porcelain COLUMBUS DOUBLE SIDE “Ashtray” Model M – Gumball Machine. This is a rare original condition porcelain gumball machine.  No noticeable re-paints or repairs, very minor chips.  The light green porcelain is perfect, very nice.  The label is new and the glass is likely replaced.  Original set of double-sided ashtray holders is a rare and nice addition. 

This machine functions perfectly however it must be re-set, when a 1c U.S. penny is deposited several (2-3) gumballs release.  There is also an original double Columbus Co. lock and key set present which functions a $75 value.  Made by Columbus Mfg. Co. Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

This dates pre-1950s era.  Large overall – 13.5 tall, 6.5. deep, 13.5 in. wide.  Est. $300-400.

There is a porcelain paint touch-up on the top near the mate, about .5 in., and another very small re-paint spot.  The photograph of the top was to show this, however the description does not include it due to clerical error.  PLEASE NOTE THIS WHEN BIDDING.

 This listing is actually the COLUMBUS MODEL 21 Nut dispenser, the ashtrays may be replaced as some of the originals were made of cast iron, some of aluminum.  Please note this when bidding.  GOOD LUCK    3bead
