SIX ITALIAN ENAMELED COMPACTS & ACCESSORY. Lot consists of five beautifully enameled Italian silver compacts with wonderful scenes of early Italian life. The enameling is surrounded by luxuriously engraved 800 silver. The bottom of each compact is entirely engraved with swirling leaves and flowers. The lot is finished with an engraved and enameled lipstick box which opens to reveal a mirror and remnants of lipstick. The front of the lipstick box is enameled with a courting couple and a lapis lazuli cabochon. SIZE: Compacts range from 2-1/2" to 3-3/4" w. Lipstick is 2-1/4" t. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-68287-19 (500-700)
