The real bottom line is more money for Ebay and Pay Pal. They make money if they require you to use Pay Pal and other online payment services they have a finger in. This does include E-checks through Pay Pal. All E-checks will clear before shipping. Payment is expected to arrive and clear within 7 days. I start the non paying bidder (NPB) on the 8th Day
