Today I offer you a very rare cuckoo clock of the Black Forest
It is produced from the manufacturer FÜRDERER & JAEGLER in Germany, Neustadt i. Schwarzwald / Black Forest app.1875.
It is made in “Gothic Bahnhäusle - style with a very fine art of carving.
It is signed on the backside with FÜRDERER & JAEGLER and the clock NR. 8.
The number 8 is also on the movement and also inside the case.
Fuerderer & Jaegler was a producer of very high quality Cuckoo clocks.
Very fine detailed carving in masterly performance.
This clock is completely restored and in very best condition.
The 30 hour movement is also completely over-worked from the clockmaker and runs very exactly.
It is stamped with the low number “8” and with “ 3 and 26”on the front and back side.
The case and the masterly carvings are made of massive oak wood . Also the dial is made of oak wood. Nothing is missing or broken.
.Please look at the pictures they can tell more than words.
The original wooden cuckoo cries at the half and full hour, he has moving wings and a moving bill.
