GREAT CHRISTMAS PRESENT Up for bids is a 1/4 plate tintype, housed in a MINT Union, thermoplastic case, showing three Civil War Officers officers smoking and sitting around a table. Hand tinting as seen. Guaranteed original and authentic. The three officers include a LT, a Major and one unknown. One of the officers looks alot like George Armstrong Custer. An unknown antique photograph of a young General Custer? You be the judge and expert on this one. The Union soldiers are in full uniform with three different types of officers hats. One Fur, one Hardee Hat and the other in a Slouch Hat. All buttons and shoulder straps are guilded. Military Washington Monument Case has no chips, cracks, or repairs and has a raised (3-D) lower front panel below the Monument as shown in the photos. Wine colored cushion on the left side is in excellent shape. Clasp latches. Hinges are tight. Picture is in great condition. Quality and crispness is extraordinary for a picture of this age.
