A wonderful heavy pottery bar pitcher advertising The Famous Grouse blended Scotch Whisky. I'm calling it new because it looks totally unused! Perfect. With the Wade PDM Mark Type 49 on the base.
I believe this is from the Royal Victoria Pottery works in Perth, Scotland, UK. The backstamp mark type dates to 1990.
It is 5.5" tall & 7" from handle to spout tip. Base is 4.25"diameter. Quite heavy - nearly 2 lbs. Sits very solidly; the handle design effortlessly tips to 45-degree angle.
Finish is matte glaze (non-glossy) pottery. Has artwork transfer on both sides in exc. condition. This pitcher is just gorgeous to the eye; it is one of my favorites - buy it before I change my mind....
