DESCRIPTION: This is an old “Granulated 54“ tobacco pocket tin . It is marked “FREE SAMPLE”. It was made by and is marked “John Weisert Tob. Co., St. Louis, U.S.A.“ It was probably made in the early 1900‘s. The front shows a tobacco leaf with the number “54“ on it. It has a hinged lid and a match strike on the bottom.
MATERIALS: Lithographed tin
DIMENSIONS: Approximately 2-1/8“ x 3“ x 5/8“
CONDITION: Overall FAIR TO GOOD CONDITION. It opens and closes solidly. It has overall wear and some light dents. I think that the pictures will tell the story.
This is a nice old and possibly hard-to-find tin to add to your tobacco or other advertising tin collection.
