As you can see the original shellac surface has alligatored over the years giving this cabinet a distinctive look. There may never has a backboard originally as there is a bent iron bar on the back, which was used to hang this cabinet on the wall and it has been there for many years. This Folk Art Cabinet measure 35 3/4" tall by 22" and 7 1/4" deep.
