Up for auction is a vintage PUMA 6393 SKINNER Pumaster knife in used condition.  Date code 56984 on guard/hilt thus made in October quarter of 1968.  The knife is 9 1/2" in total length; the cutting edge is 5 1/8" without serration.  Blade is etched with the words "PUMA SKINNER GENUINE-PUMASTER-STEEL-GERMANY BEST NO. 6393".  Nickel silver rivets with brass washers secure the premium India Sambar stag horn scales/handles onto the full tang with brass lined thong/lanyard ferrule.  Complete with and genuine leather belt sheath with old style strap, embossed Puma insignia and Puma head rivets.  Everything is tight and intact, slightly used and sharpened.  Please email any questions or for more pictures.  PUMA-WERK Solingen Germany.
