1x classic mid century chair designed by Ernest Race and made from a simple rod metal rocking frame made by Race Furniture in the 50s .
The armchair with its simple rod frame has been completely restored with new metal rocker skis /runners as they do rust over time making rocking not as smooth as this one and if left outside for 10 years by last owner !
The chair was bought with several others all needing total work on them as the last owner had not looked after them we have brought this back to its former glory with fresh skis ,power coating,armrests and a new seat pad .
The chair is 74cm depth 83cm high 62cm wide at armrests
seat height for this iconic low lounger rocker is 40cm high .
The chair is a real quality change for the iconic USA
EAMES ROCKER which we love also but as this is british we love it a little more .
The seat pad with its original vintage fabric is yellow ,orange,red and brown on a white background .
The chair is functional stylish and robust with a timeless look to it
we wish we had more but when its gone thats it .
Condition great no damage to see some rubs to underside of the skis from rocking on our floor but they all do have that so typical .
