This lovely old piece holds a 2nd class vestiment relic & measures almost 2". We believe that the locket reliquary itself is made of Brass or Bronze..If you study the digital photos we have provided you will see where we polished the inside "Roof" of the reliquary, It actually cleaned up VERY NICE! As you can see, The gold shine is beautiful! As you can see...This locket holds a lovely Sepia toned photo image of bernadette. The relic label going across the image of bernadette, Reads:

We were told by the previous owner, that this relic is believed to be BEFORE her road to canonization had even began. Either way, It is a LOVELY item to have!
