The best antique oak curved glass curio cabinet by R.J. Horner and Co., circa 1880, a good investment in uncertain economic times! To the top is a shaped mirror with the original beveled mirror, to each side is a finely carved winged griffen, below is an ogee shaped top. Below is a cabinet with a central door with the original key and lock, the door is planked by a pair of columns with carved acanthus leaf caps and carved corbel bracket supports. The cabinet has the original curved glass, inside are four original adjustable oak shelves, the curio stands on carved claw feet, wonderful graining throughout, tiger/quarter sawn oak. Condition is is very good, dimensions; 75" tall x 51" wide x 18" deep, an investment quality antique R.J. Horner quarter sawn oak curio, circa 1880.
