1950s RARE STYLISH MID CENTURY UMBRELLA STAND AUBOCK
In this auction I´m offering this very elegante and decorative umbrella stand. I think this is a very rare object, I am collecting design objects for years and I never have seen this iconic umbrella stand before. Very beautiful and straight typical Austrian Mid Century Modernist design, in the style of Carl Aubock. This is definetly a high-quality object, you can see that. Very outstanding and desirable triangular design. Made of black painted metal, plastic, brass and wood with beautiful grain, I think it is nut-wood. In very good condition with marginal signs of wear and nice patina, a few fine scratches, not more. Really no problem. One scew on its underneath has been replaced, nobody would see this. Marginal corrision on the black painted metal, this is also no problem. Free of any damages. 100% vintage object from the 1950s or 1960s. One of the most beautiful umbrella stands I know. Please check out the pictures to receive an impression about this outstanding and amazing piece. Fits perfectly to other mid century modernist design items, like Baller, Hagenauer, Bosse. Height: 16"/41 cm, width 14"/36 cm.
