Classic French bronze ormolu clock form the first half of the 19th century in good condition. The bronze work is of very fine quality. There is some slight gilding loss on the side and on the front very minor no repainting or regilding. This clock is estate fresh from VA. It has a incredible goddess with wings and hord of plenty in her hand on one side and a column with an anchor and a art platte a flute a quill of arrows and a scroll all over top of a medical staff and an anchor in fron of that killer details. On the fron of the clock is has classic french empire scroll work with a goddess head on the front and the on the clock face it has two horns of plenty and a medical staff as well. This is a very Unique subject matter and may have belong to a scholar of a doctor. It date from about 1810-1820 era. It is nearly 13 inches tall and 11 inches wide at the base nice and large size. The does maintain it's orginial feet. It does have some condition problems i do not know if it runs. Shipping will run around 45.00. It not wound tight i did check that. It comes with a pendulum that has been made out of a masonic coin from washington dc. and time adjustment hand from the back that is broken. The works are all present and stamped with some numbers. The goddess also a wing that is present with the clock that has a set screw type fitting that is missing it's not broken it is molded seperate and attached later and needs to be reattached. The face of the clock has some hair lines and cracks and is missing the hours hand. It more or less has all the parts and needs a little work. I am selling unrestored and unrepaired. Lots of photos.
