This listing is for a 2003 Trek 2300 WSD Women's Specific Design road bicycle in excellent condition. I am selling the bicycle for a friend who is no longer interested in cycling. My friend and her husband tried to get into road cycling, found that they did not enjoy the sport, and hung their bicycles in their storage room.
The bicycle has less than 150 miles on it. The condition of the mechanical components is excellent due to low milage and indoor storage. I had the bike tuned at the bike shop on 8/18/2008. The wheels are true and the shifting is perfect. You won't be disappointed by this fine machine.
This bicycle is sized at 47cm C-T. The owner is 5' 2" tall.
Component group: Ultegra 9 speed, with a triple crank. Wheel and tire size: 650, to accommodate the smaller frame. Frame Material: ZR 9000 Aluminum Alloy Fork: Bontrager Race, OCLV Carbon 1-1/8 aluminum steerer tube/crown Wheels: Bontrager Race Lite 650 (NOT 700c) Casette: Ultegra 12-25 9-speed Crankset: Ultegra triple 52/42/30 Pedals: Shimano PD-M515 SPD

Flaws: There are scratches on both shifters from where the rider came to a complete stop without unclipping from the pedals. The rear derailleur has scratches from the same incident. The pedals have scratches from the fall, as well as from the rider "hunting" around with her cleats trying to clip in. One of the stickers on the wheel has a scuff. There appears to be a smear of white house paint on one of the shifters that occured during storage.
I have tried to accurately describe the condition of the bicycle by highlighting its flaws in both words and pictures so that there are no surprises to the buyer. Feel free to contact me if you need additional photos of any part of the bicycle. I will answer any questions promptly.
The bicycle is available for inspection in Gainesville, Florida.
The bicycle comes with Shimano cycling shoes (size 38 = US 5) and a Giro Venus helmet.
