I liked how the plaque turned out so I decided that my original design would make a cute ornament. This ornament is of a sable Sheltie Mom adding a Star to the top of a Christmas tree as her two sable Sheltie pups watch. I cut the plaque out of 3/8" birch plywood. The wooden ornament measurements are 5" x 5" The wood was sealed with a wood sealer before painting with acrylic paints. The sides and the back are painted and the entire sign, front and back, has been finished with 4 coats of a matte varnish. The ornament comes ready to hang with a decorative hook and bow.
I have been painting for 25 years and enjoy painting Shelties. I got my first Sheltie four years ago, and the breed has captured my heart. My two Shelties plus others that I know provide the inspiration for my painting.
All my paintings are hand-painted, signed and are not mass produced. Each one turns out a little different. They are limited editions. I use lead-free paints, stains, and varnishes which are food safe. All copyright belongs to me, the artist, Charlotte Deibert, and must not be copied or altered without my permission.

Shipping Methods & Policy
Packages are shipped via USPS at the lowest rate unless otherwise noted. However, glass and fragile items are sent Priority Mail. Shipping discounts may be available on multiple purchases. No international shipping available. Items normally ship within 1-3 days of receiving full payment.
SHIPPING COST:
Shipping cost covers postage, packaging cost, insurance and delivery confirmation. I never pad my shipping cost in order to make additional profit. I have a digital scale at home to weigh my items before they are listed, this ensures an accurate shipping weight. I have included the shipping calculator so you will know the shipping cost before you bid. I pack each item with extreme care, using tissue paper, bubble wrap and Styrofoam peanuts, even if it means an additional cost to me in the end. I have learned from experince that no matter how well I pack an item, I can not control how my packages are handled by the USPS, so I require insurance. I want you to receive your treasured items in perfect condition.
RETURNS: Defective items have a 7-day guarantee. Email me before returning for a full refund.
LIABILITY: Item is described to the best of Seller’s knowledge of product. However, mistakes can be made, and if an error is made in the description, I will be very happy to give a full refund.
Product information: All items come from a Smoke-free environment. I only use lead-free, food-safe paint and varnishes on every item. Wooden items can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
