 You're bidding on a handsome black plastic tray with inlaid decoration of a pelican...a vintage Couroc of Monterey creation...in very good condition. A very artistic effort imaginatively conceived and skillfully executed.  Measures approximately 15-1/4" by 10-1/2" The fanciful inlaid pelican, resting on a piling, devouring a fish, is composed of various woods. etc. The tail end of the fish is turquoise, the bird's head is a bright orange ball...feet and some feathers are gold leaf. A single wavy silver line represents the ocean. It's charming. Forgive the reflections in the photos. The Couroc of Monterey (California) label is on the back.  The condition is very good with no chips or cracks. A couple minor, faint abraded areas do not detract and are mentioned for the sake of completeness only, as the general aspect is quite clean and remarkably unworn.
