WWII USAAF B-10 JACKETWITH JOLLY ROGER PATCH~ SUPERB CONDITION ~

This WWII USAAF B-10 was part of a large collection I purchased some time ago. It is Id'd to a member of the famous Jolly Rogers Squadron.

Jacket for the most part is superb overall with NO rips, tears or losses anywhere to the exterior. There are however a few small minor rust colored stains to the lower back area of the jacket that may clean (see photo). OD cotton shell remains soft & durable and fur style collar is excellent overall. Sleeves have NO losses to the cuff areas (above the knits) as normally always encountered. Buttons are present for the collar, shoulder tabs and pocket flaps (see photos). The zipper run is the original Conmar with even the leather pull remaining to the tab (see photos). Waistband & cuffs are original style but were replaced at some time (see photo). Grey fur-like lining is original to the jacket and shows minimal wear with NO losses and a single slash pocket to the left side (see photo). Nomenclature tag is present to the neck area and shows manufacture by Stagg Coat Co. Inc. Size is shown as 36 but jacket fits the mannequin as a size 34.

To the right chest is a large faded felt style “Jolly Rogers” patch ( 90th Bomb Group). Left chest has an issue style nametag (John L. Mahony - see photos). Upper left arm has a standard AAF transfer logo (see photo). There is no name anywhere to the interior that I can find but there is a stenciled partial serial number.

This is a superb attributed B-10 flight jacket with an unusual felt style “Jolly Rogers” patch. It would display well and be a great addition to any WWII collection. It is guaranteed for life as described. Great opportunity for AAF uniform collector to own an original WWII B-10 flight jacket. Super research project. Near impossible to improve on the overall condition of this jacket.
