This is a very rare, hand carved, hard to find kou (not koa) bowl . This artifact is in excellent condition for its age. It has very thin walls and a nice patina. It also has a circle patch at the bottom (as seen in the photo). This was purchased from a Hawaiian family currently living on Oahu.
