This very old, beautiful calabash is in excellent condition for its age and has a nice patina. This bowl is either kou or koa---unfortunately, I really cannot tell. It has an average rim size of 3/8" wide. It also has peg and butterfly patches. There are two large cracks on the inside of the bowl that were mended by the outside patches. This is all shown in the photos.
