I just received another great big batch of horse figurines to sell, so keep an eye on my auctions and store for the next few months, I will start selling a lot more at a time, in a couple months when I retire from the insurance business, so please mark me as a favorite seller!
This is a RARE figurine, made of ceramic, sculpted by Pamela du Boulay for the Franklin Mint. Called the Red Pony, from John Steinbeck's novel of the same name. It is every bit as good a quality as Hagen Renaker. All of Pamela's horse figurines are fabulous, with incredible sharp detailing. Mint condition, no chips or repairs. This horse looks rather Arabian to me, with a pretty dished face, and fine features. It is tall, at 9 1/2" high X 8" long. All the details of the figurine are on the bottom of the base, including "fine porcelain 1987 Franklin Mint", artists name, John Steinbeck name etc. Any white marks are reflections from the camera. Fairly heavy figurine. UPS shipping and handling includes full insurance and tracking. I will need a street address. This will be carefully packed, & double boxed. Starting with a low bid and NO RESERVE!
Horse is being packed in foam rubber immediately, so I will not be able to give you any more photos. It has been carefully inspected, and the owner bought it new, and knows the history. Bid in confidence.
I combine shipping. Take the highest shipping cost item, then add $2.50 for each additional auction won. Of course, some things cannot be combined because they are too large or heavy. Books may only be combined with books. Posters may only be combined with posters.
I have attempted to describe this item accurately, to the best of my ability. If I see any flaws I always try to point them out. If I missed them they must be really small or minor! If you have any questions, please ask before bidding. Some people are so nit picky they would complain the Mona Lisa looks old, so all items are sold as is. See my feedback!
USA SHIPPING ONLY!! SORRY, but this is my hobby. I have a full time job and lots of critters to care for. I do not have time to wait in line for international shipping, and to try to figure out the different shipping options and forms! Please do not waste our time asking for shipping prices to Europe, Asia etc, I only ship to USA!
