We
offer you this spectacular Goebel
Hummel "Umbrella Boy" figurine. This figurine is marked with a Full
Bee, pattern 152, incised mark. It measure 8" x 8". This
figurine
is fabulous, very collectible, very
desirable, is pristine in condition. This
is the one to take
home. You will enjoy this one,
and we're
happy to bring it to you. We appreciate your business. And let us say
it
again, this is in excellent condition You will
not be disappointed. Please enjoy!
As
I see it, this figurine is particularly special, because of it's
backstamp or marks underneath. This Hummel has a stamped Full
Bee mark, and an incised Full Bee mark, with dates it circa 1950. The
Full Bee mark is the first of the Bee marks to appear. The mark evolved
over 20 years until the company began to modernize it. The
very large bee flying in the V remained until around 1956, when the bee
was reduced in size and lowered into the V. It can be found incised,
stamped in black or stamped in blue. This is
that early mark, both stamped and incised.
In addition, it appears in pristine condition, which,
in my view, makes it the one to take home. I estimate its book value at
$2,700.
