You are looking at a rare WW2 period, New Caledonia, Noumea theater made fighting knife and original sheath. New Caledonia made knives were THE tanks of the day. Absolutely some of the coolest knives to come out of the war. This one is a beauty marked with the soldiers name and serial number on the blade and the sheath  "A.DeRosa 326 72 7661 New Caledonia". X's deeply carbed into the butt of the stag.

*BLADE: 3/16" thick, 8 1/4" long, very sharp

*FITTINGS: Brass guard

*CONDITION: Fine++/used, knife shows use but no abuse, knife is solid and tight, stag has two tight and stable cracks
