Up for Auction is a gently used Black Mavic Ksyrium SSC SL 700c clincher wheelset, weighing just 1485g. Ksyrium SL's are among the best alloy wheels in the world, durable for training and light for racing. These have a Campagnolo freehub, but I can switch it for a Shimano freehub if you want.

Mavic's Ksyrium wheels have received attention around the world as the gold standard of durable racing wheels. Somehow Mavic found the magic middle zone with Ksyrium wheels, which are simultaneously lightweight, aerodynamic and extremely tough and durable.
This combination of features is very hard to achieve, and makes the Ksyrium SL wheelset perfect if you want to train and race on the same set of wheels.
These wheels have been used on and off for about a year, probably 1500kms total. The rims are straight and true, and the bearings are nice and smooth. I've never had one of the spokes break (I weigh 140lbs/65kg) and have not even had to true the wheels once since I purchased them. There are some minor signs of ordinary use, but overall they're in great condition. The one blemish I could find was a scrape on the front rim, which does not affect the braking performance.
