This is a very rare Serrated St. Mary's Megalodon Shark Tooth out of Georgia. No, St. Mary's teeth are not considred extra rare....but serrated teeth are very very hard to come by. This river in Georgia is actually known to produce a good many teeth....or at leat it did up until a few years ago. The river has been somewhat over hunted and depleted, as most rivers have been in both South Carolina and Georgia.
The problem with this river is not finding teeth...its find a nice serated specimen. Most teeth pulled out of this river are very "river worn" and most do not even exhibit the slightest hint of a serration...let alone a fully serrated Meg with a fully intact tip serration, as you have before you.
This is a really really nice Serrated S. Mary's tooth for both its size and serrations quality
The reverse side of this tooth is also RED, which a very rare for St. Mary's teeth.
This is a HUGE Specimen at 5 & 3/16th inches
The serrations are better than 99% fully intact and super sharp.
The tip is fully intact.
I think you will be more than happy with this specimen.

Q: Are any of your teeth repaired or restored?
A: I try my best NOT to sell any repaired or restored teeth whatsoever. I do NOT like them so I do NOT sell them. If for some strange and unknown reason I do happen to sell one then I will be sure to mention it and point out every last little spec of repair or restoration. If I don't mention a repair then its ALL NATURAL like better than 99.9% of all the teeth I sell. Next question..

Q: Do you combine shipping for Domestic packages?
A: Good question! Yes, I do once the shipping charges reach $6.00 for Domestic shipping. For example...if you buy one tooth and the shipping charges are $2.50 then I ship this tooth via regular mail. If you buy two teeth and the shipping charges are $2.50 per tooth, or $5.00 total, then I put these two teeth together and ship them. If you buy three small teeth and the shipping charges are $2.50 per tooth, or $7.50 all together, I put these teeth into one Priority Mail shipping box and the shipping charges tap out at $6.00, not $7.50. At this point, you are free to stick as many teeth into that box as you like (4,5,6,...100 teeth...I don't care...shipping charge remains at $6.00). If the actual shipping charges go over $6.00 at this point...I will eat the difference.
Confused? Don't be...just know that once your shipping charges reach $6.00...you are receiving combined shipping and saving money. Please note that this usually only pertains to the smaller teeth that I try to ship for $2.50 each in order to save you a few bucks versus the more expensive priority mail shipping. Megalodon teeth...I almost always charge $6.00 for Priority Mail shipping anyways and at this point you are welcome to fit as many teeth into that box, large or small, as you like and the shipping charge remains the same -- $6.00. But PLEASE NOTE: If you would like combined shipping than please pay for your auction wins all at ONE TIME.
Q: What about import taxes or customs forms on the package for international shipments?
A: In 99% of the packages that I ship outside the United States there is NO need for a customs form that specifies the value or the contents. Why? Because if the package weighs 16 ounces or less, and 99% of them do, than the United States Postal Service does not require one. Feel free to email me with any questions you may have in regards to this matter -- Garry@MegalodonSharkTeeth.com Approximately 30-40% of all our auctions are won by customers who reside in countries other than the United States. Shipping outside the United States is NOT a problem.
Q: I won an auction but would like to keep shopping. Can I hold off on payment until I win a couple more teeth?
A: Sure...no problem but please just pay me all at once whenever you are done. If I get a PayPal payment than I ship the tooth.
Q: How long can I keep shopping before I need to pay you?
A: If you are a regular customer and are reliable to pay your Ebay wins than I don't care...within reason. One week...two weeks...is fine by me -- 30 days...60 days is not. I will begin to get confused and not remember who is shopping and who is simply not paying me. Win some auctions...shop around for a week or so...win a couple more...pay me all at one time...save yourself some money on the shipping...all fine by me. Just don't take advantage of this please.
Q: Do you have a website?
A: Yes, I do but according to Ebay regulations I am not allowed to give that information out in an Ebay auction, although I am allowed to give that information out in my "about me" page. You do the math.

A: Please note that I DO NOT send out second chance offers on any of my auctions. If you get one from someone claiming to be me than it is a SCAM!!! Be smart and be careful. If in doubt...email me or call me. There is never such thing as a stupid question, and I answer all my emails personally.
And one last thing....it seems every week or so here lately someone runs an auction claiming to be me. Why? Laziness and ignorance I suppose. I have had other sellers go as far as copying and pasting my slogan "Investment Fossils" into their own auction, and I have even had a seller from time to time cut and paste my entire auction and use it as their own....never even taking the time to remove my contact email address and insert their own. I even had a guy once use my pictures to sell his tooth --- when obviously we both can't be selling the same tooth. Anyways...the point I want to make is there is only one "Investment Fossils" and there is only one Garry, regardless of what ugly mug wants to claim he is me.
I do however have my wife Bethe sell some of the lower quality specimens for me here on Ebay under Bethe816. And last but certainly not least....I do want to thank you for taking the time to read my question and answer section -- may seem common knowledge to you but with approx. 1000 + emails a month....you taking the time to read this has saved me precious time and energy...and for that....I thank you.
