There is no damage to the outside of the pen or to the fountain head. 

I was told the pen has 14kt accents with a gold and platinum "nib". 

I assume that the pen does not have ink because it does not write.

I know nothing about pens and I am listing this with the information I was given about it.  You pen connisuers out there will know about this pen.

Overall this pen and case are in great condition.
