For the other start trek fans, as I am, you are bidding for the best prop I have ever made: " The classic Star Trek Hand Phaser". As I usually do my research takes years and since I was a child I made my personal phaser replicas. Now I can offer the best replica I have ever made. The phaser is made of metal. I never liked the resin low weight and I eared on internet that probably a machined phaser could has been made so I decided to produce my phaser casted in metal.All metal except for the transparent clear plastic parts.This phaser incorporates some unique features that no others made.When the knurled metal thumbwheel is rotated forward, the transparent plastic sight flip upward, this is the fire position. When you press the circular trigger the green laser light on.I think that today all people know the green laser. However the green laser pointer I used is significantly brighter (about 60 times) than a red laser pointer as well as more noticeable due to its unusual green color. A 532 nm green laser is superior to a 650 nm red laser.And unlike a red laser, the green beam itself can be seen in mid-air in dark conditions, not just the laser beam dot. This allows the green laser pointer to be used for pointing to star constellations (sky pointing) and also just generally look cool as well. The green laser beam dot can be seen at much greater distances than with a red laser pointer.I professionally built this replica and as you can see I thought to made it with "STRESSED PAINT" to looks like a screen used prop.
