Return Policy
At Home and Teatime Elegance and Essex Teas Intl. we are dedicated to your 100% satisfaction. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, the item must be returned in the same condition as received within 7 business days of receipt for a full refund of your purchase price – shipping costs are non-refundable. If a mistake was made in our error, then return shipping costs will also be refunded. In order to avoid unnecessary returns or bid retractions, please read all descriptions carefully and email any questions before bidding.
No Refunds on opened consumables (this includes tea) or cut fabric by the yard.
Custom Made Orders Policy & Return Policy
All custom made requests will require a minimum of 50% deposit, paid through Pay Pal invoicing. The remaining balance owed is requested to be paid before shipping items. There is generally, but not limited to, a two week period for custom orders; however, a notification will be sent with a more specific time estimation to the buyer, or upon specific request– as each type of request may require differing times.
As a general rule, we do not accept returns on custom made items. However, we try to be fair and reasonable for our customers and will comply do to what we can in order to remedy any dissatisfaction, by which we will consider repair, exchange, or refund solely at our discretion.
Domestic Shipping & Handling
~ Will combine shipping costs for multiple-order purchases wherever applicable, so please email us if you have a multiple-order purchase before you pay for an item – we will cheerfully send you one invoice for the combined shipping cost.
~ Most items are immediately shipped out upon receipt of payment; some items we will estimate delivery times based upon availability of item(s) when an order is placed
~ All shipping costs are calculated by weight/distance.
*~ Insurance is automatically included in shipping costs for items over $25.00 (or upon request); insurance may not be available for some international shipping.
International Shipping
~ We do ship internationally.
~ Buyers are responsible for any custom fees, duties, and taxes.
~ We accept payment only through Papal. In countries where insurance is offered, then insurance is required.
*~ Please note that First Class Mail International, Priority Mail Intl Flat Rate Envelopes, and Priority Mail Intl. Small Flat Rate Boxes cannot be tracked via the USPS online tracking system. Because of this, all packages shipped via 1st Class Intl are required to pay the additional fee for Registered Mail. This is to provide additional protection and security in dispatch and conveyance in the United States. For each registered item a mailing receipt is issued by the office of mailing and a record of delivery is maintained at the office of destination. This fee will be included in shipping fees.
*~ Most items will be shipped via Priority Mail International and will require insurance where it is applicable. Because insurance is not offered in some countries, we can not be responsible for items lost in shipment.
~ Buyers also should be aware of experiencing longer shipping times due to customs-related delays.
