this is a very good quality theodolite in case made by kern,it looks in pretty good condition,there is a service sticker on from 1992.it is a very heavy well made piece,probably cost a fortune a few years ago.viewing or testing welcome otherwise selling as seen as i havent got a clue what all the buttons and winders are for.im sure if you type in the make and model plnty of info should be available.came with another surveyors thing im listing.pick up would be best option due to weight of the item.outer carry case has overall signs of wear and use but it has done a very good job of protecting this piece.good luck and happy bidding in this auction,ill happily combine postage if you buy more than one item,please view my other items most bought many years ago when i was younger,but now need the space as kids growing up so most starting at 99p with no reserve,all sold in untouched condition and as seen,any questions welcome.
On 29-Aug-08 at 23:52:13 BST, seller added the following information:ive had various questions regarding shipping prices,if you click on the uk postage price box then enter your country instead of uk the rough shipping price should show up,its a very heavy piece,my digital scales only go upto 5kg and when i tried it on them error came up as it is well over 5kg,id guess it could be around 8-10kg once packed.also ive had a question about condition of optics which my reply is below aswel as the question....

hi there,ive focused the item onto some small writing on the other side of the room and yes the optics look very clear on any item its focused on,front lense ive just wiped over and thyere may be a small scuff or scratch,may polish out but i dont like messing with things as i sell untouched,ive shone a torch down the opposite end and deep inside there are what could be a couple of roundish marks similar to finger prints in a yellowish colour,not sure what it is but doesnt appear to affect the vision at all,all knobs have a function and all seam to work but again im no expert.no breaks or cracks i can see.shipping by standard airmail would be about 50 pounds,global priority about 70 pounds or datapost about 100 pounds,hope that info helps,kind regards,daniel | |
