Original 6" x 6 1/4" metal license plate topper advertising auto parts giant (and still in business) Pep Boys...This topper is New Old Stock. I don't think this has been on a car, even though it has some rust on it. It came out of a fairly damp basement, so it may be just from being stored lousy. As you can see, it's not mint, but it's nicer than a lot of toppers. Super nice color with Manny, Moe and Jack smilin' at you. Neat piece for Pep Boys collector. Lately, there have been some reproduction toppers on e-bay, and you can tell them easily by how poor the embossing is...they almost look flat. They barely no real crispness to the stamping like the originals.....and sellers list them wekk after week....not hard to figure out!
