You are bidding on a beautiful Action Comic: #193 Superman with a classic cover . This Golden Age comic is in about G/VG condition because the art of grading is so subjective, I am providing a rough grade as a courtesy only. The comic is sold as is, in a mylar bag with a cardboard support.
This comic which has vibrant colors, and issued in June 1954 has very nice eye appeal, a nice piece of American and Comic history and a treasure to add to one's collection. The front cover, has wear along the spine area (small tears and spine split above upper staple), including minor wrinkles, with miniscule tears along the border area, small old faded stains, some border roughage including old faded creases in lower right hand corner and general wear associated with a comic of this grade. Inside front cover has small white tape which can be carefully removed small old faded scotch tape. Also, the reverse has border roughage and some pieces missing for accuracy. The comic has a tight centerfold and no pages or coupons are missing......

We define GOOD as the following:
GOOD
The "Good" category of comics is the broadest category. It's a catch-all category of comics that are complete, but always flawed significantly in one way or another. These comics are primarily for reading.
Tears: Usually lots of small ones. Everything is allowed except the cover being torn completely in half horizontally. Some comics in Good also have small holes that go through the entire book.
Spine Stress: Spine can actually be torn up to 1/4" into comic.
Staples: Cover and/or centerfold can be loose. Rust is allowed.
Writing: All writing is allowed except for excessive magic marker or writing on the story pages in such a way as to detract from the story. This Comic does not have any
Rubber Stamps: Allowed unless they are excessive in quantity.(This Comic does not have any)
Tape: This is again a tough issue. We allow lots of tape in the Good category as long as it's some sort of cellophane tape. A spine neatly taped with masking tape would even be allowed if the tape had not started to deteriorate.
Pieces Missing: We allow up to a 2" square piece to be missing from the front cover or a 3" square from the back. On the interiors we allow a 1" piece to be missing from a corner. Coupons can be clipped from the back cover, but not from interior pages. On older Marvels in this category, small pieces missing from the edges are usually evident. These are known as "Marvel Chips
Fingerprints: Allowed.
Waterstains: We allow extensive water damage in the Good category. We draw the line at the point where the comic looks like it's been left out in the rain or read in the shower. (This Comic does not have any)
Browning: Usually evident. The comic may also be loosing some of its suppleness and trying to get slightly brittle. But it can't actually be flaking.
Folds: Lots of them. Including subscription folds.
Spine Rolls: Allowed.
Off-Center Printing: Allowed.(This Comic does not have any)
Cover Scuffing: Allowed.(This Comic does not have any)

Return Policy

All lots (Exception: Third party graded notes and coins are not returnable for any reason whatsoever) paid for within seven days of the auction closing are sold with a three (3) day return privilege. You may return lots under the following conditions: Within three days of receipt of the lot, you must first notify seller by e-mail, and immediately mail the lot(s) fully insured to the seller. Lots must be housed intact in their original holder and condition. You are responsible for the insured, safe delivery of any lots. A non-negotiable return fee equal to the seller’s stated shipping costs will be deducted from the refund for each returned lot or billed directly. Postage and handling fees are not refunded. After the three-day period (from receipt), no items may be returned for any reason. Late remittance for purchases revokes all Return-Restock privileges.
