AUTHENTIC WWII BOMBER JACKET LEATHER FLIGHT ARMY A-2

You are bidding on a AUTHENTIC WWII BOMBER JACKET LEATHER FLIGHT ARMY A-2. It is in very good condition considering its WWII vintage. Leather is generally flexible, not dry and/or cracking. It is a little dusty but I do not attempt to clean any items. Waist band has a few small holes; cuffs are pretty nice. Lining is generally very good except some wear holes around neck as shown in photos below. Shoulder patch is also made of leather. Lining is marked vertically on inside near zipper KAZZY. Front of jacket has 17 painted bombs and name on breast KAZ. There is an outline of wings with bomb in center over left breast. Just below the wings is the dotted outline of a rectangle and below that the dotted outline of a circle. It looks to me like Kaz may have had more in mind for the jacket but for some reason it was never finished. The dotted outlines are just impressions not holes. Back of jacket features a painting of what I believe is a B-17 WWII Bomber in the clouds with the words SHY ANNE or SKY ANNE across the top. This jacket still has the original A.A.F. label as shown below. Collar snaps are present and in good shape as is the neck hook. Zipper is in good working condition with original leather pull tie. Size tag at label is marked 44. Circa WWII. Jacket weighs about 4+ pounds before packing. Will ship in larger box to keep folding to a minimum. Bidders Please note.  I have re-examined the round and rectangular impressions with the aid of a jeweller's loupe.  It appears that they are impressions made from patches being attached previously and there are extremely minute thread size holes at the center of each impression.  Without magnification they merely looked impressions without holes.  I apologize for the error. Anyone bidding before this claification may feel free to retract or change their bid.
