Jaeger Le Coultre Atmos Clock, No Reserve
Here is a very nice looking early Jaeger Le Coultre Atmos Clock, with the serial number 105241. The technical principal is a beguiling one: Inside a hermetically sealed capsule is a mixture of gas and liquid which expands as the temperature rises and contracts as it falls, making the capsule move like a concertina. This motion constantly winds up the main spring, a variation in temperature of only one degree in the range between 15 and 30 degrees centigrade is sufficient for two days' operation. It has a nice original finish on it. It has glass on all sides and a round white arabic numeral dial, with hash marks between several of the numerals. The dial is 4 1/2 inches in diameter, and the clock is 9 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. It is 15 jewels and is made in Switzerland. It is in good working order, and we are selling it without any reserve. However, they do not include any running guarantee unless so declared in the written description for the item. Some adjustments may be needed after you receive the clock, since packing and shipping will sometimes affect the running of the clock. We will try to assist you if this happens, but we are not responsible for these adjustments.
