I AM PREPARING TO MOVE, AND I HAVE HUNDREDS OF RADIOS TO MOVE. I DECIDED TO SELL SOME OF THE SETS,THAT I HAVE THIS IS A VERY DESIRABLE SET,BEING SOLD AS FOUND. THE RADIO WAS A VERY EARLY(1932) STYLE. THE RADIO WAS MADE BY THE FAMIOUS FRED W. STEIN OR THE STEINITE COMPANY OF ATCHISON,KS. HE WAS CONSIDERED TO BE ONE OF THE GENIUS ENGINEERS OF THE TIMES........ THE STYLE IS A EDGY DESIGN FOR THIS PERIOD....REALLY IMPRESSIVE AND UNUSUAL!
...AND AS YOU CAN SEE THE RADIO IS COMPLETE DOWN TO THE BALLOON TUBES.
THIS IS A VERY LARGE AND IMPRESSIVE SET, AND IN DARN GOOD CONDITION. I HAVE NO IDEA OF THE ELECTRONICS, BUT IT IS ALL THERE IF YOU WANT TO RESTORE THE SET.
THIS RADIO MEASURES 19 INCHES TALL 15 INCHES WIDE AND 10 1/2 INCHES DEEP.
I DO NOT CHARGE FOR PACKING,NOR ADD ANY UP CHARGES TO MY SHIPPING....YOU PAY EXACTLY WHAT I PAY.
The 194The 19The 1947 Coronado 43-8190 "Racetrack" for sale here is a great merger of late Deco and Atomic Age design. The design is simple, but very elegant and striking. The smooth blunt oval shape of the case is mirrored by the marbled blue rounded oval "racetrack" trim carrying the maker's name, volume levels, and station frequencies, and incorporating the two matching circular control knobs. These simple elements all combine to make it a very impressive fully functional display item for either the Deco or Atomic Age collector or anyone who wants to enjoy a striking vintage radio in their home or office. 47 Coronado 43-8190 "Racetrack" for sale here is a great merger of late Deco and Atomic Age design.
